The Community Relations Department of Puerto Rico Football Club has the goal of creating summer and winter camps, as well as to organize specialized clinics run by professional players of the team. The reason is to show appreciation to all the communities in different parts of the island for the support they provide to the club.
"These free clinics have the intention to reach communities around the island to present and promote the sport of football to children and at the same time that they can interact closely with the players of the club" said the Director of the PRFC Community Relations Department, Alexis Rivera.
One of the most important programs is PRFC KIDS. Its objective is to reach the less privileged communities in the island. Children in those communities don't have the resources to buy a ticket, and for that, they are invited to the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium to enjoy a PRFC match in an exclusive area reserved for them and have the experience of living a professional football game.
The Puerto Rico FC clinics are a joint effort with Triple SSS to strengthen ties with the community and carry the message of the importance of exercise for a healthy life.
