Puerto Rico FC sets first open tryout dates as they prepare for their inaugural season

Feb 23, 2016

Puerto Rico Football Club is pleased to announce that they have set the dates for tryouts for the 2016 season. Having scoured Puerto Rico, the United States, Central and South America and Europe over the last several months, Head Coach Adrian Whitbread and the rest of the Puerto Rico FC technical staff are now focusing on the First Ever Open Tryouts in leading up to their inaugural season of play in the NASL. The first game in the history of PRFC will take place on Saturday, July 2 at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, PR.

Tryouts are open to male soccer players ages 18 and older and will be held at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida on March 12th and 13th; and in Southern California in the Los Angeles area on March 19th and 20th. Adrian and his staff will be on hand assessing all the players over each two day tryout. Space is limited to ensure that all players get significant time to show their best in front of the PRFC coaching staff. The Puerto Rico local try out will be announced soon.

"We had success with these types of events with clubs I have been with before and I am hoping to find some future Puerto Rico FC players through these tryouts”, Whitbread commented.
