San Juan, Puerto Rico- This week three players will have the opportunity to show Puerto Rico FC’s coaching staff what they can bring to the Club and how their skills can benefit the team. Edgar Pacheco, Ryan Whalen and Chinedu Arinze will train with the team for the upcoming days in hopes of winning a spot on the roster.

“Our Club will always look for players that can better our roster and that will foster competition within the squad. This is something we would be doing even if we were currently in first place. We will be always looking to improve our team and now is no different” Said PRFC President Thomas Payne.

Pacheco is a Mexican international who just finished a stint in the Korean Super League with Gangwon FC. The attacking midfielder has also played for Queretaro, Juarez FC, Atlas and Tigres UANL of the Mexico’s first division. Whalen and Chinedu can both play right back and even though they are less experienced they are committed to showing the PRFC staff they deserve a place on the roster. The NASL’s signing window closes on September 30th.

Puerto Rico FC will host the Jacksonville Armada FC this Saturday at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. Our Fan Fest begins at 5:00pm in which the Club will celebrate Puerto Rican Culture Night with live music, artisans and more surprises. Get your tickets at
